In the Fellowship Gallery of Brunswick’s Unitarian Universalist Church

Points of View Artists is lucky to have one of the first art shows in Brunswick’s Unitarian Universalist Church in September.  The building, rebuilt after a fire destroyed most of the original church, includes space for artwork, the Fellowship Gallery.   Organizer for the gallery is POV’s Ed McCartan.  Please stop by during normal hours to see our exhibit. 

Participating artists include:  Lucy Banfield, Tim Banks, Barbara Bean, Bonnie Dickey, Joe Godleski, Beth Heron, Carolyn Judson, Harriet Lindemann, Judith Long, Ed McCartan, Ed Morton, Ann Slocum, Barbara Snapp, Craig Snapp 

Location:  Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick, 1 Middle Street, Brunswick  [Note that the Church is closed on Mondays.]

 

CREATE III includes work by Lucy Banfield and Judith Long

Every year the Maine College of Art hosts an exhibit of work by the year’s students.  Both Lucy and Judith took classes this past year and have work in the show.  Reception:  September 4, 5-7 pm.

Carolyn Judson and five colleagues show works Made in Clay

The Art Gallery at the Chocolate Church in Bath is the site of an exhibit of sculpture from September 17 through November 10.  Participating with Carolyn Judson are colleagues Cathy Bloom, Fran Charles, Betsy Fear, Nan Moran, and Joanna Pool.  Reception: Friday, September 19, 5-8 pm.

Location:  Chocolate Church Arts Center, 804 Washington Street, Bath

Hours: Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Saturday from noon until 4 p.m.

Chance Encounters at Points of View Art Gallery 

Bonnie Dickey, Beth Heron, Ann Slocum and Barbara Snapp have joined forces for this show in the Main Gallery.  Each artwork is the artistic uniqueness of chance encounters between the artist, the subject and the medium.  Artist reception September 12th, 5 to 8 pm.  Gallery hours:  Mon-Fri, 9 am to 5 pm; 18 Pleasant Street. 

 

Blooming in the Garret Gallery

September is a garden of floral delights on Points of View Art Gallery’s third floor.  Created by Joe Godleski, these paintings of flowers in nature and in the home are lively and colorful.  Artist reception September 12th, 5 to 8 pm.  Gallery hours:  Mon-Fri, 9 am to 5 pm; 18 Pleasant Street.
