• Prints by Points of View Artist Judith Long in International Exhibit

A print by Points of View artist Judith Long has been accepted into the 12th Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT. This juried print competition was limited to works no more than four square inches.

Judith and two other members from her printmaking cooperative Circling the Square are the only printmakers from Maine in the exhibition. The Juror was Tomas Vu-Daniel, Artistic Director for the Print Studies program at Columbia University.  He chose three solar plate relief prints from Judith’s Bargello series (see image).

This year the Center for Contemporary Printmaking received 442 prints from 158 artists with works from 21 countries and 26 states.  Vu-Daniel selected 227 works by 119 artists representing 14 countries and 22 states.

The exhibition runs through September 1, 2019.
